”Virgo Brain” - the analytical, systems-orienting thought process associated with the astrological sign Virgo (known for getting shit done while dotting i’s and crossing t’s).
I help individuals and teams create repeatable systems, processes, and strategies for getting work done. No one-size-fits-all bullsh*t; designed to work for your brain and values. For the neurodivergent, the rebels, and the weirdos.
It’s okay if you don’t have a Virgo Brain. You can use mine.

1:1 Advising
In these stand-alone sessions, we dive into an area where you need support and identify what’s getting in your way. These sessions are a mix of guided conversation, brainstorming, and planning. They’re great when you have a specific problem you’re trying to solve, or need an outside thought partner to help you work through an issue.

Small Group Strategy Sessions
For teams of 2-4, these sessions are focused on helping your team think about how to approach a new project or vertical in a strategic, systems oriented way. Through a facilitated conversations, we’ll zoom out and explore the objectives of the new undertaking and what research, supports, or expertise are needed to develop a plan and take meaningful action. While they’re focused on a single project, these session encourage systems-thinking skills that are always useful.

Done-Together System Design + Implementation
Whether you’re instituting project management software or overhauling your internal workflows, these engagements are focused on developing systems and strategies that will work for you (and then working together to implement them). We’ll start with an exploratory conversation, where we’ll identify what you need and what the roadblock and pitfalls might be. From there, I’ll provide a suggested framework and we’ll work together to dial it in. With a plan in place, we’ll collaborate on setting up any tools or resources needed for implementation. You’ll come away with new workflows, and the skills and confidence to actually use them. These engagements are intended to be either 1:1 or with a primary point of contact amongst a small team. Depending on project type and scope, Brain Builds include 2-4 collaborative meetings/work session.
The beliefs and principles that guide how I work and who I work with.
People First
The best system is the one you’ll use; if it doesn’t work for the people it’s intended for, it doesn’t work.Rather than expecting people to contort themselves to make a tool work, we change tools to make them work for the people.
Plan for Evolution & Deviation
The best systems are the ones that accept and account for the fact that people change, forget things, and have different needs at different times. Rather than expecting humans to be robots, let’s embrace people’s humanity and design support systems that help them be precise when that’s what’s required and change when that’s what’s needed.
Feelings Welcome
A lot of us have (and often hide) big feelings about the way we work and learn. Many of us have been traumatized by school, bad jobs, and systems of oppression. I believe in making space for those realities and being mindful of them while we work together.
Undermine Systems of Exploitation & Extraction
I am always (imperfectly) trying to divest from and undermine systems of exploitation and extraction, in my own work practices and the ways I encourage other people to work.
To that end, I don’t work with organizations that directly profit from prison labor, weapons & the war industrial complex, oil. (TK something about this being an imperfect and incomplete list, but these are a few hard nos)
